Map Demo

Map places the rows of a Dataverse view or query at their latitude and longitude, read with the visitor's permissions, on the map provider the portal's settings choose. The page names no provider and holds no key: both come from the portal's configuration, and Azure Maps needs no key at all, as the portal signs in to it with its own identity.

Sales by Region

The US in five sales regions, over the accounts and contacts the portal registers for maps, each table in its own color. The toolbar over the map chooses the view — accounts and contacts, or either alone, the views the portal registers for this map — the tables shown and their filters, and, signed in, keeps views of your own. Click a region and the figures under the map become its own: how many accounts and contacts it has, what its accounts have won, and the open pipeline they still might. Dataverse works each one out over the region's states, with the visitor's permissions; All regions goes back to the whole country. Markers close together gather into clusters, clicking one shows its row, and the style switches to satellite imagery or imagery with roads and labels. The print button over the map's top right corner prints it, titled with the region shown, and, where the map's provider allows it, saves it as an image.
