Inline Editing
A grid can be edited in place. With AllowEdit set, the grid's menu gets an Editable switch, and each column then shows the editor its Dataverse column calls for, with no wiring per column. Edits wait in their rows until Save writes them all at once, and each row stays read-only unless the user may change that record.
Contacts, Edited in Place
The grid opens in edit mode, with a text box, lookup, drop-down, date picker, money box or switch in each column. The sample contacts are read-only for everyone: sign in, add a contact of your own with New, then change it here and press Save. Refresh throws away changes not yet saved.
